The pain and stiffness you are experiencing now hasn’t always been this way. Our aim is to restore the balance in your body and get you moving well, feeling good, and achieving the things you have always wanted to
We feel the word restore encompasses both what you guys want when you pick up the phone or drop us an email, and also what our physio’s number 1 goal is... to restore your body’s equilibrium, and restore your ability to function at the level you want.
Your physiotherapy assessment will last upto 40 minutes. We also offer extended physiotherapy appointments which we use when we feel the need to spend longer either treating your issues, or rehabbing you back to where you want to be.
Quite often the issue you’re suffering with at the moment, whether it be back pain, shoulder soreness or knee trouble will have been caused at some point in your past.
Alongside a deep discussion around your injury history and current problems, there will be an element of assessment and rehabilitation. This will include bed based assessment which will incorporate a number of tests utilised by physiotherapists, and also a movement assessment.
Following this you can expect to move into our gym space where we will work with you to find exercises that are relevant to your issue, and are within your ability to complete them. The outcome you get from physiotherapy is only ever as good as your commitment to rehab in between your appointments
As you will be moving around (dependant upon your issue of course), please bring along adequate clothing which will allow free movement for yourself, and allow the physiotherapist access to the relevant area ie. if you are struggling with a stubborn shoulder pain, then for our female clients, a vest top would work perfectly.
By the end of the initial appointment we will provide you with a breakdown of our findings, a list of ways we should manage these issues and a plan of action moving forward.

“Getting about is not as easy as it used to be, I just need someone to come to me and help me build the confidence I need to stay happy, mobile and independent”
I have suffered terribly with pain in my shoulder and neck for many years.
From the moment I booked the appointment I felt at ease. they knew exactly what the issue was and how they could help me.
I’m not the most confident with exercise but I was reassured and they explained what I needed to do in simple terms.
I cant recommend the team highly enough with their support I am pain free!
I have had a sciatic issue for the last 6 months or so which stopped me going out running which was very frustrating. My wife introduced me to Move4 through and to be honest I was a little hesitant at first.
However, after the first session I knew that this was the missing link to my sciatic problem.
I am now running every other day and feel more confident in dealing with my back issues.
I’ve had to call on the Move4 team on a few occasions and can’t recommend them highly enough. Each time I’ve been given a thorough and detailed rehab and treatment programme.
I found their knowledge and professionalism to be outstanding.
I’ve had to attend other physios over the years and have often had mixed and underwhelming results. This is absolutely not the case with Move4 and I wouldn’t hesitate to call on them or recommend the team.
“Being away from exercise for a while you lose confidence, but joining the small classes of Pilates at Move4 I have regained it, as well as feeling fitter.”
“I have been to many physios over the years and most of them have helped me but none have ever actually found the real problem till I went to Move4 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.”
